The longer I’m alive, the more I understand the impact of the eight positive attitudes in life. These essential attitudes of gratitude, responsibility, objectivity, willingness, humility, honesty, caring and open-mindedness are more important than my failures, successes, even what others around me may think, say or do. They are more important than my appearance, talents and skills. They can and will make or break my business, education, spirituality, even my own home.   The remarkable thing is that I have a choice every day to use these attitudes in a positive position to inspire, nurture and give opportunity to grow myself and others around me.   I cannot change the inevitable. The only thing I can do is continue to do the right things by living with integrity and having empathy for others around me. In order for that to take place, I live by the eight attitudes. I am convinced that life is 20% of what happens to me and 80% is how I react to it. If you were to ask me, I would tell you the only things I have control over are my emotions and my attitude.
